Established in 1986 from a humble beginning, Tomintoul Venison pride ourselves in offering quality Scottish food, our venison is sourced from Highland estates – wild not farmed. All our specialties are cooked to order, well worth the wait when you see your venison or beef sizzling on the griddle. We use “proper” rolls, Lockerbie mature cheddar cheese, free range eggs. All our packaging and cutlery is biodegradable. Tomintoul Venison has become 'The name of the game' in the event catering field.


Our main supplier is Ardgay Game in Bonar Bridge the only SALSA accredited supplier in Scotland, Ardgay supplies all our venison and makes the Highland cattle beef burgers for us.We use our local butchers for sausages etc and use the finest Stornoway Black Pudding in our breakfast rolls.

Big Stag

Double burger - beef, venison or one of each, served in a roll with Lockerbie mature cheddar and fried onions.

The Lairds Lunch

Grilled pieces of wild venison served in a warm pitta fold with fresh fried onions, mayonnaise, salad leaves, and mixed cucumber and tomatoes.

Tartan Burger

A beef or venison burger served in a roll with three rashers of bacon and fried onions.

Haunch of venison

Served in a flat bread with fried onions, redcurrant jelly and a salad garnish.

Topside of Beef

Served in a roll with fried onions & horseradish sauce.

Wild Venison Burger

Served in a roll with fried onions and Lockerbie mature cheddar.
